Digital Stories from the Muslim Student Association

Five Muslim students at Drake University created digital stories with the assistance of Professor Crowell’s Spring 2014 Religions of Des Moines: Islam course.  All five of these stories are from students who are currently active in both the local Muslim community and in the Muslim Student Association at Drake University. These stories convey some of the principles and practices of Islam within a Midwestern American context. Several students have traveled from long distances to study in America, others were raised within the local community.
